Elizabeth’s deep passion for hospitality first took root when she spent the day with her father, Bill Morrissey, for a Take Your Daughter to Work Day when he was the General Manager of The Saint Paul Hotel. Her own career began at The Saint Paul Hotel and continued at the Hotel Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Convention Center, St. Paul’s RiverCentre, and Restaurant Max. After earning a hospitality degree from the University of Denver, Elizabeth worked as a Food and Beverage Manager at the Waldorf Astoria New York, managing the Bull and Bear Prime Steakhouse and the hotel’s beverage department. She worked in the sales division at Johnson Brothers Liquor Company, managing 35 of the Twin Cities’ top restaurants and hotels, became the first Moët Hennessy Portfolio Manager in Minnesota, and earned her Certified Specialist of Wine title.
