Morrissey Hospitality Welcomes Six New Brands

Tripling portfolio since 2019

April 26, 2022– St. Paul, Minn. – Morrissey Hospitality, a second-generation family-owned hospitality management company, announced today the addition of six new restaurant clients. The list includes Admiral D’s Waterfront Tavern in White Bear Lake, Freight House in Stillwater, New Bohemia locations in Saint Paul and Plymouth, Seventh Street Truck Park in Saint Paul, and the recently opened Momento in Saint Paul. Over the past three years, under the leadership of co-owner Elizabeth Morrissey Brown and president Richard Dobransky, Morrissey’s portfolio of properties has tripled in size. Looking ahead, continued growth is on the horizon for Morrissey with a strong focus on hotels and venues.

“I feel proud of how Morrissey Hospitality has grown over the past three years, despite the challenges we faced with our industry partners during the pandemic,” says Elizabeth Morrissey Brown, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Morrissey Hospitality. “Not only have we maintained our existing portfolio, but we’ve continued to expand. Morrissey’s positioning in the Midwest hospitality market coupled with our reputation for quality execution were instrumental in our recent growth. Our breadth of resources allows us to add value to business owners and achieve desired outcomes immediately.”

Outside of Momento, which is solely owned and operated by Morrissey, the additional five restaurants are receiving a suite of Morrissey’s management services. This includes on-site management of daily operations, strategic planning and management of marketing plans, bookkeeping, menu development and procurement, recruiting and onboarding support and improvements to existing technology.

Now working with 12 restaurants, three hotels and four venues, Morrissey has plans for continued growth. In addition to offering new client services such as brand development and planning, the company plans to expand its footprint beyond the Twin Cities metro and Western Wisconsin to additional nearby states. While continuing to expand its restaurant portfolio, Morrissey will also look to add more hotels, entertainment, catering, meeting and professional and collegiate venues to its growing portfolio. To start, Morrissey will announce the addition of another hotel under its management umbrella this spring.
