A Minnesota native, John Henkels left his job as a landscape architect to attend culinary school and pursue his passion. John cut his teeth at The St. Paul Grill, and was promoted to Sous Chef before accepting the Executive Sous Chef position at Pazzaluna Urban Italian Restaurant. After time in corporate kitchens, John rejoined the Morrissey culinary team in 2019 as the Executive Chef at Central N.E. Today, John is Executive Chef at Momento Restaurant + Bar, Morrissey’s newest restaurant concept
