The Hotel Minneapolis
Originally a DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton, The Hotel Minneapolis opened in the stylishly-restored 1906 Midland Building at the corner of 4th Street South and 2nd Avenue South in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Construction on the chic, contemporary new member of the Doubletree family of hotels required considerable creativity, as the talented team of architects, designers and MHC found ways to combine the historic building’s classic, marble-columned elegance with the new hotel’s sophisticated comforts and state-of-the-art technology.
"Best New Restaurant" by Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, restaurant Max took the Minneapolis restaurant scene by storm when it opened in 2008. Serving lunch and dinner to the downtown corporate and leisure markets, the restaurant and bar has a critically acclaimed design in the old Midland Bank Building and was instantly recognized for its professional and heartfelt service.
Opened in 2006 and designed by renowned French architect, Jean Nouvel, the Guthrie Theater is the crown jewel of the performing arts district in downtown Minneapolis. To achieve this, Guthrie turned to Morrissey Hospitality Companies to provide the direction and design expertise to plan the food management operations throughout the seven-floor building.
"Morrissey Hospitality Companies is a company that puts hospitality and services at the forefront. That's why people come to Minnesota and that is why they come back."John Edman, Director of Explore Minnesota
"Managed by MHC says integrity, extraordinary customer service, quality and a cut above the rest."Cyndi Lesher, Retired CEO of Northern States Power of Xcel Energy
