Awards and Recognition
At Morrissey Hospitality Companies, we don't build just brands, we
build award winners. That is what we are hired to do. Awards translate
to profits and consistent winners bring record profits, and that is our
goal. But these awards don't belong to us, they belong to you and so
do the profits. Day in and day out, our management team is committed
to winning at all levels for each and every property and for you the
owner.
Lodging
Morrissey Hospitality Companies built The Saint Paul Hotel into a Four-Star property. It wins that
award consistently, along with a host of others, including AAA's
Four-Diamond award. In 2002, Conde Nast Magazine named The Saint Paul
Hotel to its Gold List, recognizing The Saint Paul Hotel with the best
hotels in the world. It is proud to have been featured by Good Morning
America, National Geographic, The New York Times, USA Today, Bon
Appetit, and many others. Perhaps the most telling is that of its
biggest customer, 3M, which presented The Saint Paul Hotel with its 3M
Supplier Excellence Award. Click here to read all our awards and
recognitions for The Saint Paul Hotel.

the best, garnering awards from the likes of Minnesota Monthly, Twin
Cities Business Monthly, the Zagat Survey, Gourmet Magazine, Wine
Spectator, Diners' Choice, CitySearch, Minnesota Meetings and Events,

and Market were voted into the Twin Cities Top 5 by the readers of
Minneapolis/St. Paul magazine. Menu items from The St. Paul Grill made
the cover of Where magazine, Tria and The St. Paul Grill were included
in the “Top Ten Dishes of the Year”, and Pazzaluna’s Executive Chef was

Sports and Entertainment
MHC’s partnership with Minnesota Sports and Entertainment led to the
creation of a premium food service and catering company recognized
regionally as one of the top companies of its kind, and nationally by
the NHL for providing the nation’s finest customer experience for a
sports arena. Over the past few years Wildside Caterers has been
recognized by Minnesota Monthly, Twin Cities Business Monthly, Hockey
News, ESPN Magazine, Minnesota Meetings and Events, and the National
Hockey League for outstanding food and beverage service. Our venues,
317 on Rice Park, Xcel Energy Center, and St. Paul RiverCentre were
also recognized for excellence because of our service and attention to
detail. Click here to read all our awards and recognitions for Wildside Caterers.
Authentic Hospitality
Morrissey Hospitality Companies hires the best people to manage your property. More than 950 of
them look after MHC managed properties and these people are award
winners too. MHC requires its leadership to be part and parcel of their
communities. They are board members for the Chambers of Commerce and
the Visitor and Convention Bureaus. They join the task forces and lead
the committees. They belong to clubs and societies and have
undergraduate and graduate degrees. They volunteer and embrace the
needs of the communities where they work. From Master Gardeners to
active members of the local theatre, each MHC employee is unique. All
are committed.
