Director of Lodging Division
Tom Oehler joined Morrissey Hospitality Companies to aid us in our efforts to manage new opportunities. Among his responsibilities, he serves as the lead contact for all new business and consulting initiatives for MHC.
Prior to joining MHC, he served in varying positions such as General Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Purchasing at both the property and corporate level.
Most recently he was the General Manager of the Governor’s Residence for Minnesota’s previous chief executive, Governor Jesse Ventura and current Governor, Tim Pawlenty. Previous experience includes General Manager for Regency Inns Management Company; Corporate Director of Sales, The Saint Paul Hotel; Director of Purchasing Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and directing several consulting projects for the Saint Paul Port Authority. He has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Hotel and Restaurant Management and earned the CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) designation.
